How the leaderboard works

The leaderboard ranks the Daily Challenge mode. Every day, the 9 mini-games cover the same mystery country for every player, so scores are directly comparable. Your daily total is added to the ranking as soon as your run ends.

The four periods

• Daily — today's challenge scores, reset every night at midnight.
• Weekly — the total over the last seven days: consistency beats a single good score.
• Monthly — the running total for the current month, reset on the first of the next month.
• All-time — the total since your first run, across every day played.

Do I need an account?

No. A nickname is enough to appear on the leaderboard: it is reserved the first time you pick it, with no password and no email address. Your personal stats stay in your browser.
